Julian has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, with over 10 years of that being in the specialist fire safety sector.

During his career, Julian has worked at almost every level in the sector, from tradesman through supervision, management to Regional Director level at a large Tier 1 main contractor, successfully delivering small, medium and high value projects ranging from £2k – £15m for a number of clients, including many from the G15. Julian treats every client and project with the same level of pride and commitment to excellent service, communication and customer satisfaction.

Bringing that knowledge, experience, passion and pride to 3B Fire Consultancy, his attention to detail and customer focus, along with his knowledge and passion for fire safety and compliance, works therein to ensure clients and customers are in safe hands.

David Burton

Managing Director – Group

Our Group Managing Director, David, is a time served tradesman, apprentice to the National Trust, with over 40 years of construction and management experience, 30 years of which were successfully managing and delivering large scale construction, maintenance, and fire safety projects in housing, student accommodation, education, universities, and the health sector.

David is responsible for the direction, strategy, and compliance of the group, and our strategic relations and partnerships. Upholding our company ethos and overseeing the service delivery excellence that the Plus Group is reputed for, David not only polices our internal policies, but guides the company and future strategy while ensuring continuing positive relationships that provide our clients with the quality of service that they deserve.

Chris Stangroom

Director – Fire Prevention Plus

With over 20 years’ experience in the engineering industry, with over 8 years of that specialising in the fire safety sector.

Chris is a fully qualified degree level engineer and Level 4 qualified Fire Assessor with many fire safety qualifications and extensive on site experience, managing multiple teams of fire safety engineers on a variety of complex projects.

His technical knowledge and pro-active approach ensure the smooth delivery of projects for our clients, paying close attention to compliance and site safety throughout.
